The Transformation

On September 19, 2025, it marked fifteen years since my near-death experience — fifteen years since the night I died and came back to life.

Researchers and medical professionals who study near-death survivors often say it takes about a decade to truly acclimate — to find your footing again in this world. For me, even after fifteen years, not a single day passes without that experience shaping my words, my choices, my relationships, and the way I move through life.

Creating LorriBrewer.com has been far more than a website project — it’s been a deep reflection on that night I died and the long, humbling journey that followed. It took enormous strength to survive, rebuild, and find my new normal. But it has also been a journey filled with thrilling new beginnings — the upcoming launch of my second book, The In-Between, the rebirth of my career, and the realization that life is beginning again, with renewed focus, direction and fresh purpose.

The greatest transformation hasn’t just been in what I do, but in why I do it. After twenty-six years in real estate, I’ve come full circle. My focus is finally no longer on transactions — it’s on transformation. My new dedication is to people — to helping others rebuild their lives, rediscover clarity, and come full circle too.

I’ve learned that transformation doesn’t happen in one dramatic moment. It unfolds quietly — in the pauses between endings and beginnings, in the choices made when no one is watching. That’s where the real healing begins.

Walking Beside You

If you’re standing in your own season of transformation — unsure what comes next, or wondering if you’ll ever feel “normal” again — I understand.

This space, The In-Between, isn’t just where I share my story. It’s where I walk beside you through yours. Every post here is a reflection of what it means to be human — to break, to rebuild, and to rise.

You’re not alone in your transformation. You’re just finding your rhythm again — one heartbeat, one moment, one gentle breath at a time.
